Gerbera in transport
Gerberas are popular and therefore each day, large numbers are harvested and travel to the point of sale under ideal circumstances. Care is required while the flowers are being transported. The optimal transport temperature is 4 - 7 degrees Celsius to prevent continued growth, limit evaporation and combat the growth of mould and bacteria.
